| Sallie's Famous Horse Slurpies This recipe is an estimate keep in mind needs to be adjusted for the size of the horse. 3-4 lbs of Brome Pellets 1/2-1 lb of Oats 1/2 lb Senior feed(older horses) Supplements if your horses need them 1-2 gallons of warm water 1/4 cup applesauce 1/2 diced apple(morning) 1 diced carrot(night) She also adds 1 tablespoon of Linseed meal to help their shedding. And for horses with dry mane she adds 1 cup of pure corn oil. |
